Ayyermalai Sanitation Project

The Problem

At the Ayyermalai Government School in India, there are over 500 students. For many years the school had no available toilet facility for the boys who are attending the school, only the girl students. Due to these circumstances the students would have to use a nearby open field.

The Solution

Our funding is allowing the school to construct a brand new toilet facility to adequately serve the boys who are attending the school.

Members of the community and the school hold a small ceremony at the site where construction will take place

Construction begins on the site. Holes are dug for the new septic tanks and the foundation.
