Siladen Water Cistern Project

Group at the Siladen water filtration tanks in Indonesia

The Problem

On the island of North Sulawesi Indonesia, the community of Siladen suffers from undrinkable ground water due to having very high salination issues. Due to this problem, most clean water needs to be shipped in at high expense to the local people.

The Solution

Working with Learn to Live, this project includes the installation of a 1000 liter cistern and rainwater catchment system.  This project will be built at the local elementary school to serve 120 students as well as the surrounding community.
